 School News Network (contributed by the School of Finance)On the morning of December 14, 2019, the "Second China Finance Academic and Policy w88 sports betting and Financial Development w88 sports betting for the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of New China" hosted by the University of International Business and Economics, the Journal of Empirical Finance Editorial Department, and hosted by the School of Finance and the China Financial Research Institute was grandly opened at the International Exchange Building of our school.

Li Maoguo, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the University of International Business and Economics, Wang Xin, director of the Research Bureau of the People's Bank of China, Zhang Lu, chair professor at Ohio State University, Liu Xiahui, executive deputy editor-in-chief of the magazine "Economic Research" magazine, Zhang Yongshan, president of the magazine, Hou Kewei, chair professor at Ohio State University and editor-in-chief of the Journal of Empirical Finance, and Zhou Bo, director of the Party School Office of the University of International Business and Economics, attended the opening ceremony. He pointed out that the traditional consumer CAPM framework only considers the demand side when it comes to capital asset pricing and cannot explain various abnormal returns. For this reason, he introduced a different CAPM model than the previous one.
