Statistics gave Shu Juan a good tool to rationally use data to explore the mystery of the world, allowing him to find that the world is not as beautiful as he imagined, so he hopes to use the power of statistics to change the world.

He is obsessed with academics and loves scientific research. During his postgraduate studies, he participated in three national, provincial and other horizontal projects.In 2016, as a graduate student representative, he participated in the 9th International Data Mining and Applied Statistics Annual Meeting, the 6th China Statistics Annual Meeting, and the 16th National Symposium on Statistics of Young and Middle-aged People, and gave academic reports at the meeting. He had in-depth exchanges with the participating scholars and received unanimous praise from the participating scholars. The summer event of "Peking University-Yale University Data Science" made him fully feel that in an era of data explosion, how to use data scientifically to solve practical problems.

In order to better conduct academic research and cultural exchanges, Shu Juan has been working hard to learn English, and has passed the professional English CET-4, professional level 8, interpreting, and written translation volunteers participated in academic conferences and expos many times.
