Zhang Xiaofeng, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School, Li Feng, Minister of the Student Affairs Department, Li Yong, Director of the Security Department, Shen Aihua, Minister of the Research and Engineering Department, Wang Yi, Deputy Minister of the Research and Engineering Department, and more than 300 representatives of teachers and students from relevant functional departments and colleges attended the flag-raising ceremony. The event was chaired by Li Yan, Deputy Minister of the Student Affairs Department.

"Step-go!" The command sounded through the sky, and the members of the National Flag Guard had a firm look, their figure was as tall as a pine tree, and they were walking like a sharp sword unsheathed, and they walked towards the flag-raising site with a sonorous and powerful force.

Holding the flag bearer and raising the flag, the bright five-star red flag rose slowly in the "March of the Volunteers". All teachers and students stood up and stared at each other and sang the national anthem spontaneously. Their hot eyes were filled with deep affection for the motherland.

Abdula Abudurehman, an undergraduate student at the School of Insurance, talked about his understanding of national security based on his experience of joining the army, and called on students to integrate national security awareness into their daily lives, start from little things, start from themselves, work hand in hand, inherit the red gene, and build a national security line together.

Zhang Xiaofeng, deputy secretary of the school’s Party Committee, pointed out in his speech that national security is the basic prerequisite for the survival and development of the country, and safeguarding national security is the fundamental interests of the people of all ethnic groups in the country.
