Jing Haoyu's master's thesis of the Chinese Academy of Chinese Studies was published in the "Chinese Modern Literature w88 Series"

School News Network (contributed by the Chinese School of Languages ​​and Literature)Recently, Jing Haoyu, a master's degree in Chinese Modern and Contemporary Literature, School of Chinese Language and Literature, University of International Business and Economics, published a paper "The Inner and Outer of "Master" - The Expression of Guo Degang and Deyun Club from the Perspective of Contemporary Urban Folk Literature" in the B-level journal "Chinese Modern Literature w88 Series" (Issue 11, 2024). His instructor is Professor Liu Yan of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

This paper is a streamlined version of Jing Haoyu's master's thesis. The research paper focuses on Guo Degang and Deyun Club. It starts from sorting out the development context of the master-apprentice system in the history of Chinese crosstalk, and discussing the crosstalk text and actual production relationships, which can reveal the operating mechanism and potential capital logic of the discourse expression of "master". On the one hand, within Deyun Club, the expression of "master" plays a role in obscuring and misidentifying the real production relations of Deyun Club; on the other hand, under the peace between the master and the apprentice based on their respective interests, relevant symbolic capital allocation and hierarchy order were established, and a universal recognition of differentiated identities was created.
