School News Network (Provided by the School of International Economics and Trade）On March 11, 2025, the School of International Economics and Trade held an enlarged meeting of the w88 Committee's theoretical study group to study the "Outline of the Planning for Building a Strong Education Country (2024-2035)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Outline"). Members of the w88 Committee and members of the college attended the study meeting. The meeting was chaired by Xue Yi, Secretary of the w88 Committee of the College.
At the meeting, Xue Yi led the study of the content of the "Outline", and gave a comprehensive and systematic interpretation of the important significance, overall requirements, main goals, and key tasks of the "Outline", and explained the understanding of the chapter contents of "shaping a new pattern of moral education and cultivating new people of the times who are responsible for national rejuvenation; enhancing the comprehensive strength of higher education, and building a strategic leading force; building a high-quality and professional teacher team to build a solid foundation for a strong education country; deepening comprehensive education reform, stimulating the vitality of educational development; improving the strategic strategy of opening up education to the outside world, and building an important education center with global influence" and putting forward requirements for the college's next stage of learning the content of the "Outline".
Dean of the College Tang Yihong made a key study speech. Tang Yihong pointed out that the programmatic document of the "Outline" for the new era of education reform emphasizes the three major attributes of education, explains the relationship between education, clarifies the strategic goals and action paths for the future development of my country's education, and provides important theoretical guidance and practical basis for achieving high-quality development of education in the new stage.
