This thematic w88 live casino Day event specially invited Dr. Liu Ye of the National Medical Team to fight the epidemic in Hubei to exchange online with teachers and students the thrilling and heroic stories that happened in the battle against the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic in 2020.
Liu Ye, a member of the Communist w88 live casino of China, PhD in medicine at Peking University, is currently the attending physician of the Department of Endocrinology at Peking University Third Hospital. The first batch of medical teams to Hubei Third Hospital of Beijing Medical College set out on the first day of the Lunar New Year, the second batch set out on February 1, and Liu Ye set out on February 6. She said, "I received a notice at around 4 pm on the day of departure, training started at 5 pm, and departure at 7 pm. The time was very tight, and I couldn't even prepare my luggage. It was snowing heavily in Beijing that night, and the plane could not take off. Until the next morning, a chartered flight was temporarily added to Wuhan." "Our plane is the only one of ours at the entire Tianhe Airport. Except for a few airport staff, the entire airport is empty." Liu Ye described his feeling when he first arrived in Wuhan. "On the way to the station, there were no vehicles, all the windows were closed, the whole city was deserted and full of gray, which made people feel depressed and bitter, and it felt that the whole city was really in need of help."
For anti-epidemic medical staff arriving in Wuhan, adapting to such an environment is also a challenge. Liu Ye said, "I clearly remember that the first time I entered the intensive care unit was an evening shift. There were 5 doors from the cleaning area to the ward. In front of the last door, I stopped unconsciously and took a deep breath. At that time, I thought to myself that this air was relatively clean. When I entered this door, I had to breathe carefully. But when I entered the last door, I was involved in work, and when I started to communicate with the patient and check the patient's body, I forgot all these."

Although the process was difficult, Liu Ye said proudly, "After overcoming many difficulties, we have completed the anti-epidemic task well. What makes us particularly proud is that we have achieved zero infections for medical staff!"

"American doctors are very suspicious of our achievements, but this is what we have achieved," Liu Ye said. "On the one hand, this is thanks to the support of compatriots across the country; on the other hand, the leadership and construction of the w88 live casino organization played a very important role."
