School News Network (contributed by the Department of Student Affairs)In order to further strengthen the construction of the class teacher team, implement the "New People of the Times Soul-casting Project", and promote the "three-dimensional education" in depth and practical, our school held a class teacher work seminar in the conference room 226 of the administrative building on March 28, 2025. Zhang Xiaofeng, deputy secretary of the school party committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Representatives of the deputy secretary of the college party committee and representatives of outstanding class teachers of various colleges attended the meeting and exchanged. The meeting was chaired by Li Feng, Director of the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee.
Deputy Secretary Zhang Xiaofeng first fully affirmed the extremely important role played by the class teacher in the development of the school and the growth of students, and expressed his sincere gratitude to the class teacher for his hard work on behalf of the school party committee. He pointed out that the class teacher is a key force in the school's moral education and ideological and political education, and plays an extremely unique role.
Minister Li Feng systematically introduced the work of our school’s class teacher from three aspects: system construction, process management, and work results. Wen Zhifeng, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of China University of Finance, and Hong Jiemin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Government Management, respectively introduced the main practices, characteristics and directions of efforts of the college’s class teacher’s work.
The outstanding class teachers representatives of each college had in-depth exchanges on the work ideas, working methods, difficulties and experiences of the class teachers based on their professional background and education. Whether it is tea talks between teachers and students, academic empowerment, or encouragement and support when students need it most, the class teachers present summarized useful experiences by sharing education stories, which aroused strong resonance. Everyone expressed that we must effectively improve the level of education and the effectiveness of education, take professional guidance as a starting point, deeply integrate knowledge imparting and growth empowerment, strengthen the work coordination between class teachers and counselors, provide targeted and professional guidance for students' comprehensive growth, and promote the organic unity of all employees, all processes and all aspects of education.
This class teacher work seminar exchanged work experience, discussed work difficulties, deployed and prospected the work of class teachers, built a platform for class teacher work exchange and learning, gathered a joint effort in educating people, and laid a solid foundation for promoting the high-quality development of our school's student work.
