Mazuguang has long been engaged in laser dielectric spectroscopy, new tunable lasers and nonlinear optics and application research. He has conducted long-term systematic research on systems such as dimer excimers, solid triatomic excimers, quad-atomic excimers, vacuum ultraviolet band ionic excimers, and has achieved a series of innovative results.
Mazuguang's papers "Emission Spectra of UV Pump Na2(B 3∑g)-Na2(x 3∑u)" and "Ultraviolet Excimer Emission in Na2" have a great influence in the optical circles at home and abroad. He compiled the book "Laser Experimental Methods" and compiled works such as "Nuclear Theory".

Mazuguang, born in Beijing on April 11, 1928. From 1946 to 1950, he studied in the Department of Physics of Qingdao Shandong w88 sports betting.
In 1987, he served as the first batch of expert and consultant in the national "863" laser field. From 1986 to 2000, he served as a director of the Chinese Optical Society.
In 1960, Mazuguang was named the Red Flag Bearer of Harbin Institute of Technology. From 1982 to 1988, he was successively rated as an outstanding Communist Party member of the school and was awarded the title of Outstanding Communist Party Member of Heilongjiang Province. In 1984 and 1986, he was awarded the Heilongjiang Province Special Model Worker twice.
On July 15, 2003, Professor Mazuguang died of illness in Beijing at the age of 75.
