The School of English takes advantage of its own discipline characteristics and advantages to always adhere to the concept of international talent training. Dean Wang Lifei summarized it as "one selection", "two reforms" and "three trainings". Once you choose, you will strictly control the selection of talents and select good students for the cultivation of high-quality talents.5Over the years, we have strictly selected and improved the quality of students, and expanded the proportion of outstanding high school students to be admitted year by year from key foreign language middle schools across the country. The second reform is to closely monitor and investigate the whereabouts of graduates every year, boldly reform, and reform the training programs and curriculum settings for business English, translation and financial news majors in response to international characteristics and market conditions, and create international, compound and competitive English talents.

As for the characteristics of undergraduate graduates studying abroad, Zhang Cuiping, secretary of the Party Committee of the College, believes: "Among the students in the College of English who went abroad to study, many were admitted to famous foreign universities, some went to study language education, and more were admitted to majors such as finance, economy, and accounting. This is mainly due to the concept of international and compound talent training, scientific and reasonable curriculum settings, a strong faculty team, and effective guidance to students. On the basis of constantly summarizing experience, the college should further optimize the plan and continue to work hard in cultivating international elite talents."When talking about the students who went abroad to study this year, Deputy Secretary Xu Wenbing, who has accompanied everyone for four years, believes: "This year, many students were admitted to first-class foreign universities, which proves that the direction of the school's school is clear and employment guidance is effective. The School of English has been implementing the school's international school management concept for many years, achieving outstanding results, and achieving fruitful results in the cultivation of high-level and high-quality talents."

In recent years, the College of English has actively done a good job in student work, providing information consultation for students studying abroad through holding overseas study reports, exchange study consultation meetings, one-on-one in-depth tutoring, etc., actively providing services for students studying abroad, and providing strong support for students to go to the world.

Weng Wanwan, who was admitted to Harvard w88 mobile, said: "Interest is the best catalyst for struggle. I like to try new things, and it is difficult to achieve real development if I am bound to it. A free environment is very important for people's growth. The international atmosphere of the w88 mobile of Economics and the one-semester study and life in Chicago's Loyola w88 mobile in the first semester of my junior year made me firm my desire to study abroad for graduate school. During the four years of study at the w88 mobile of Economics, I have gained more knowledge, trained my ability to communicate with others, and unexpectedly discovered my potential adaptability. Although I was tiring to study, I enjoyed it."

Student Zheng Qi, who was admitted to Harvard w88 mobile, said: "In the School of English, many outstanding students can participate in honors courses at the undergraduate level to conduct cutting-edge activities in academic research. In addition, the small-class teaching model of honors courses allows each student to communicate one-on-one with the professor, discuss the writing of course papers, and even participate in a certain research that the professor is conducting, and observe and learn from it the thinking methods, research models, writing standards of academic research, and inspire deeper and multi-faceted thinking in a certain field."

Class Qin Lijia, who was admitted to Cambridge w88 mobile and Duke w88 mobile, said: "I basically did what I should do at this stage at every stage. To put it more utilitarianly, these experiences were an indispensable part of my background when I applied to a foreign school; and if I look at it less utilitarianly, these experiences were precious memories in my w88 mobile life on the one hand, and also enabled me to enhance my abilities and deepen my understanding of myself in all aspects."

Class Zhong Xun, who was admitted to Columbia w88 mobile in the United States, said: "Since I entered w88 mobile, I have had the desire to study abroad. I want to feel the American w88 mobile life of high school students who say "every day is like a final exam". Although the idea sprouted very early, I began to prepare all exams and documents in August of the junior year's summer vacation. I also want to tell those juniors who are as enlightened as me, everything is not too late. As long as you make a decision and believe in your own decision, you will definitely do something for yourself in a critical moment. A little change in your heart will eventually become the starting point for creating miracles, and finally you will thank yourself for gritting your teeth and giving it a try."

A student Chen Huahao from Imperial w88 mobile of Technology in the UK said: "In terms of student training, the school left the most prominent impression on me is to give students full freedom of choice and diverse development possibilities. Almost every student at the w88 mobile of Economics can study courses outside of this major through minors, double degrees, elective courses and unplanned courses, and even further study in other fields that they are interested in and have potential. This will be of great help to students in the future cross-professional postgraduate entrance examinations, cross-professional study abroad applications and compound employment."
