The "Research on Annotations and Literary Imaging of the 14th-16th Century "Divine Comedy" and Literary Imaging" hosted by Associate Professor Pan Yuanwen of the Italian Department was approved for approval by the National Social Science Fund General Project; the "Research on Translation, Communication and Reception of Chinese Contemporary Literature in Italy (1949-2023)" hosted by Dr. Wang Ying of the Italian Department was approved for approval by the National Social Science Fund Youth Project. In addition, in August this year, Associate Professor Wu Han, Director of the Italian Department, was approved by the National Social Science Fund Chinese Academic Foreign Translation Project "The Tutorial on Modern Chinese Grammar Research" (Fifth Edition) Italian Version". This year, the Italian Department has approved a total of 3 National Social Science Fund projects, and has made great progress in scientific research construction.
In the past five years, the Italian Department has obtained a total of 4 national social science fund projects and 2 humanities and social science fund projects of the Ministry of Education. Teachers in the department have also published many academic papers in high-level core journals.
Our hospital attaches importance to guiding and driving organized scientific research. The Italian Language Department teachers have continuously explored and worked hard in the fields of translation theory research, Chinese culture communication, language policy and planning, and medieval Renaissance research, and carried out scientific research in an organized and planned manner, forming an important landmark achievement in the construction of first-class professionals in the Italian Language Department.
From 2019 to the present, our institute has obtained a total of 20 vertical first-class scientific research projects at the provincial and ministerial level or above, including 15 national-level projects and 5 provincial and ministerial-level projects. Among them, it won 6 National Social Science Fund projects in 2024, making breakthrough progress.
